Cha Cha Changes

Due to our circumstances I am changing my picture a day blog. I will just update with our happenings...its too stressful to try and get a pic a day.

It has been a while since I straightened Presli's hair. I was surprised at how long it has gotten and so was she. She made sure to tell everyone ALL day how long her hair is.
I set the tramp up for the kids to enjoy for a couple more weeks before we leave. Connor was in heaven. He has been asking since Jan to get that thing set up. I figured since it hit 60 this week it was a "go".
Dropping Dev off at the airport this week....love us some IN-N-OUT and beautiful sunsets!
Sunday was one of our lasts in our 3rd ward. The kids sat laughing and blowing leaves with friends. Pretty dang cute! I also taught my last gospel doctrine lesson today. Bitter-sweet.
Chatting with Dev...its all becoming more real. We are anxious...nervous...excited....
Some random shots around the house I got of the kids this week. Sure love them. They are our everything! So blessed to be their mom.

I have started our Brazil blog....you can follow us here: http://5inbrazil.blogspot.com/

We're Moving...

It's true! We are moving to São Paulo, Brazil. We are super excited for this next adventure. This is the area that Devin served is mission. We are excited to see this part of his life as well as learn a new language and culture.

We had a shipping container and a moving crew show up to our house on Friday morning and removed everything from our home except a 19" television, a hand full of suitcases and 4 air mattresses. Our stuff is currently en route to Sao Paulo Brazil, where Devin has accepted a position with Vigzul, working under David Neeleman. We will complete our move as a family the end of March.

Although we are sad to be leaving ConAgra Foods, we are very excited for what the future will bring, and for the challenges and growth opportunities we will experience as individuals and as a family unit over the next five years during our journey outside the US.

A LITTLE MORE INFO ON VIGZUL...for those of you who have asked...
Vigzul recently launched in Oct 2013. Vigzul is a home security and monitoring company with a focus on door to door sales using young Brazilians who have served a Mormon Mission.

up to 67 March

67/365: Its a little pre-mature but the kiddos looked so cute in their Easter outfits. I'm cheesy and I like them to match. I am so blessed to be their mom. They are my EVERYTHING. It is good to remind myself that constantly. They are too too precious.
66/365: Night out with our friend Tyo. We are all going to miss him...the kids especially. They were convinced the other day that his last name was Harris. Ha!
65/365: All our house hold items are now in route to Sao Paulo, Brazil. We could not be any more excited for our next adventure.
64/365: Our items are all packed up. Dev and I pulled an all-nighter to make sure we got everything ready to go for our movers.
63/365: With all the toys packed up our morning was a little dull. We are learning to make do with what we have.
 62/365: It's happening....I am officially learning Portuguese.
61/365: Poor Dawon's first haircut was because of his sister. She didn't cut it but she did put gum in it. I still need to "fix it". poor little man!

Up to 60/365 Feb/March

60/365: It has been one of those weeks and laundry is piled high.
 59/365: Elsa and Iron Man.
58/365: Trying to get some yard work done while the kids played. Connor pushed his bike up the dirt hill only to ride down into the water spikeet. It swelled up instantly. Poor guy. He layed around with ice for the next couple hours and then went right back up that dirt hill. His poor nogan is going to be all different colors the next couple weeks.
57/365: Great day at the dentist. No cavities :)

56/365: Dawson and Race are so fun to watch. He will stick his little fingers in Race's fence and Race will lick them and Daws will run away laughing as Race howls. It was pretty entertaining.

55/365: Another nice day outside. I am so grateful for these precious children. Devin is one in a million as well. He is always there to pick up the pieces that I miss in life. These kids are blessed to have such a great daddy.
54/365: Digging dirt is good therapy, right? It was so nice to get out of the house today and work outside. Fresh air is so refreshing.
