Christmas Day

Our traditional "stair" picture. Sure love these kiddos.
Our morning was perfect. Dawson experienced his first crazy Christmas morning. He was not quite sure what to think. His siblings were very convincing this was the best time EVER!
The pictures totally speak for themselves.
Dawson loved the oranges the most. Now that I look back he might have been convinced that they were balls. He loves balls. I didn't realize it at the time.
We got ready and headed to Bear Lake to be with family.
 We visited Dev's family first.
Then headed to a cabin on the lake. Mom and Dad switched things up this year. It was so perfect. They rented a place on the lake. It was Gorgeous. We don't get together as often as we would like anymore because kids are getting older and have pressing schedules. It was so perfect.
Grandpa gave all the grandchildren a special gift this year. A lantern. He use to have these when he was a little boy. He told us memories and stories of when he grew up and how his dad always had a lantern lit for him. It was priceless.
Daws made his rounds with everyone...little cutie.
This summer mom held a "grandma camp" for all the grandkids. It was priceless. She held it in June before Grandma Sorenson's passing. She was able to take them to Grandma's and she told them stories and spent quality time with them. Mom has pictures and video of this sacred time that I will always be grateful for. For Christmas mom made up a book for each grandchild to remember this special time. It was perfect.
We were all together. This doesn't happen much. We wanted to grab a pic while we were all together.
Same with our immediate family. Can't believe how old we are all getting.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
